Description
Trading Options is no walk in the park.
After 5 years of active options trading, I have both made and lost various sums of money on the stock market.
Especially in this current market environment (currently it is 2022-08-29 as I write this update), it is crucial to master money managment (risk and size of potitions), technial analysis, and be on top of macro-economic events (like wheneverΒ the fed raises its rates).
To this changing tide of market posture and volatility I have been trading much shorter incremements than before. Usually one or two day trades, yet even more so intra-day trading.
I will be updating this course, or perhaps create a seperate course dedicated to intra-day trading.
Intra-day trading is similar in nature to longer term or mid term swing trading, except that the big difference is the time frame with which you trade. For example; if we are trading a 20 day long bull put spread; we will look at a 6 month chart to determine support and resistence. However, during an intra-day trade we may look at a 5 day chart, with 15 minute candlesticks; while simltaniously looking at a daily chart with 2 minute candles.
All the same technical analysis we use for short term swing trading is used for intra-daytrading.
For now, please enjoy this version of advanced options and please stay tuned for updates to come!
Best Regards,
Alec Le Ray
