The ICF Code of Ethics describes the ICF core values, ethical principles and ethical standards of behaviour for all ICF Professionals. ICF implemented the current version of the Code in January 2020.

ICF Credential-holders are part of a self-regulating group of elite coaches who provide accountability to clients and the coaching profession as a whole. ICF offers three credentials: Associate, Professional and Master Certified Coach.
